Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the EasyLinguisy mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
EasyLinguisy is an AI-powered language learning application that provides:
- Interactive roleplay conversations with AI characters
- Grammar checking and correction
- Vocabulary practice and tracking
- AI tutor conversations
- Speech-to-text and text-to-speech features
- Translation assistance
The App uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI and Deepgram) to generate content and is intended as a supplementary language learning tool.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
4. User Accounts
The App uses anonymous authentication. No email or password is required. Your learning data (vocabulary, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information will be lost.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Free and Pro Tiers
The App offers both free and paid (EasyLinguisy Pro) features. The specific features available in each tier may change over time.
5.2 Payment Processing
Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Payment is processed entirely by the app stores — we do not collect or store your payment information.
5.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their refund policies.
- We do not process refunds directly.
5.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes in accordance with app store policies.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
- Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or offensive content
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or payment requirements
- Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content
7. AI-Generated Content
7.1 No Professional Guarantee
The App provides AI-generated language learning content for educational purposes only. AI responses, grammar corrections, translations, and feedback are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. The App is not a substitute for professional language instruction, certified translation services, or academic evaluation.
7.2 Content Accuracy
While we strive to provide helpful and accurate language learning content, we do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. You should not rely solely on the App for critical language needs (e.g., legal translations, medical communication, academic submissions).
7.3 Content Variability
AI-generated content may vary between sessions. The same input may produce different responses at different times.
8. User-Generated Content
8.1 Feedback
If you submit feedback through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the App.
8.2 Custom Scenarios
Custom roleplay scenarios you create are stored locally on your device and are not shared with us or other users.
9. Intellectual Property
- The App, its design, features, and built-in content (scenarios, prompts, UI) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- AI-generated responses during your sessions are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
- You retain ownership of any original content you create (e.g., custom scenarios, feedback text).
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate
- The App will meet your specific learning objectives
- Defects will be corrected in a timely manner
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services (OpenAI, Deepgram, Supabase, Mixpanel, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Disruptions to third-party services may affect the App's functionality.
15. Modifications to the App and Terms
15.1 App Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.
15.2 Terms Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Locally stored data remains on your device.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.
